This sounds like an issue with the trailer wiring.
The first thing to check is the grounding on the trailer. Make sure the ground wire has a clean connection to the trailer's frame. Any corrosion or buildup on the connection point can dampen the power going to the trailer's lights. Also, check each of the trailer light grounds by opening them. They need to have a clean connection to the trailer's frame as well. If you find any corrosion, paint, or rust at any of these points, then clean... view full answer...
Power runs to the backup camera part # FOS05TASF when the trailer is put in reverse. There is a switch in your reverse wiring that trips the camera to turn on. You do have to be plugged into the 7-way on your towed vehicle. view full answer...
That sounds like a bad motor to me. Sounds like the motor has weak coils and when gets warm or hot from use they aren't able to carry enough amperage to operate.
You'll have to check out your setup to see which slide out motor you'd need. I attached a link to a page that has all of the ones we carry. view full answer...
The Blue Ox Patriot Radio Frequency, Portable Braking System # BLU37TR is going to drain the battery while you tow. If you just ran a jumper from the main battery to a second battery then it would still drain both batteries while towing. Diode wiring should not be draining your battery since it receives it's power from the motorhome so I doubt that is the cause of the issue.
For the power issues I recommend reaching out to Blue Ox and seeing if there might be an update needed to the system.... view full answer...
